James Redden the Explorer Talks to Year 2

16th January 2018

On Wednesday 27th January, Year 2 had an exciting visitor!  James Redden, explorer, came to tell us about some of his amazing adventures.  He shared stories  about his expeditions to the North Pole and experiences in the jungles of Brunei.  We got to see pictures of him in blizzards, jumping out of aeroplanes and facing ice mountains!!  It was great to see the equipment which he takes on his journey's and the children enjoyed testing this out for themselves.  It was a really inspiring morning and lots of the children now want to explore this wonderful planet of ours!  Watch out parents, we have lots of adventurers in Year 2, we can't wait to hear where they decide to explore in years to come!
