Year Reception Stay and Play

9th November 2016

Reception children enjoyed a ‘fruitful’ afternoon of activities during their first Stay and Play session of the year. The session focussed on simple ideas for developing their fine motor skills which were linked to the Book Start book ‘Kitchen Disco’ (which all children received a copy of).

The children and parents made fruit skewers, printed pictures using a of selection of fruits and vegetables, made seed shakers and took part in a fruit themed word hunt.

We would like to thank all the parents who attended. Subsequent sessions will take place later in the year, the next is scheduled for the Spring term.
