This half term our Reception children have enjoyed learning about Superheroes. They have stretched their mental – and physical – muscles, investigated superpowers (like magnetism) and ultimately found out how to develop their individual learning powers.
As the culmination of their work, the children unleashed their alter-egos on the school and celebrated their learning on our Superhero Day this Friday.
The children arrived excitedly at school dressed as both familiar and newly-invented superheroes and spent a fantastic day doing lots of ‘super’ things: from moving like superheroes in PE, to learning how to dance like one… and ultimately celebrating how much they have already grown personally this year!
