SEN Teaching Assistant - Haddenham Community Infant School

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful KS1 team to support an individual child from November 2022 until August 2023

The successful candidate will work alongside a supportive and experienced team working 1:1 with a child to inspire them and enable them to make excellent progress.

Term time only

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Range 2, ISN 11-15 pro-rata (£20,258 - £22,716 FTE), depending on experience

Contract type: Fixed Term

Hours: 8.30am - 3.15pm

To work with an individual child on a range of activities to constructively help the child to
participate by adapting and/or interpreting lessons and instructions accordingly. 

Desirable qualities:

• Relevant experience or qualifications in working with young children
• Experience of working with children with SEN
• Record keeping skills
• Interest and/or expertise in art and craft activities
• ICT skills
• First aid qualification (training will be given if necessary)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Able to prioritise
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Able to work under own initiative
• Able to work flexibly
• Show appropriate consideration for the needs and feelings of others
