Cosine - Community Project

On Thursday 24th August, Haddenham Community Infant School was extremely fortunate to welcome the team of over 40 amazing employees from the village-based firm of Cosine, who gave up their day in the workplace to give back to our community.

We at HCIS were the very lucky recipients!

The group came armed with tools to help us transform our outside area in preparation for the new school year.

They cleared the pond area, making it almost unrecognisable, creating a viewing area to enable the children to observe the plants and wildlife changing over the year.  Several teams set to work painting and varnishing fences, picnic tables, sheds and gazebos around the school.  They painstakingly built a new geenhouse and outdoor learning shed ready for the children to start using in September.  Another creative team created bug themed tyre planters to brighten up the woodland area, which I know the chidlren will love. They made a new sandpit area and scrubbed resources ready for the children to play with in September.

The brilliant team worked tirelessly throught the day, transforming the grounds.

We are so very grateful for all their help, hard work and enthusiasm throughout the day.

All staff and pupils at Haddenham Community Infant School say a huge 'thank you' to Cosine for their generosity.
