Year R Stay and Play

18th May 2017

"Reception's latest Stay and Play session saw the children, and their parents, exploring activities linked to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. The children enjoyed exploring  a wide range of learning opportunities linked to many areas of the curriculum, including mosaic making using beans, role playing the story, measuring castles, counting magic beans into numbered pots, stringing magic harps and making potions in the mud kitchen. Thankfully the weather was kind and the children relished the activities in both in indoor and outdoor learning environments. We were delighted that so many parents were able to join us and we look forward to welcoming you back in July for our final Stay and Play of the year, celebrating our children's first year in school."
