School Development Plan
Each year we publish a School Development Plan (SDP) which identifies how we can further improve and develop the work of the school, how we will manage change, and how we can make best use of resources and new opportunities available to us.
School Development Plan 2025-26
Highlights
- Develop further collaboration between federated school for curriculum continuity for curriculum continuity
- Reading - skills of reading for meaning/ increase parent involvement in reading/develop a reading culture within our school
- Developing teaching and learning with trainee teachers from our teaching partners
- Continue to improve attendance of vulnerable and SEND
- Developing support for parents in wellbeing/crisis and signposting
- Embed and further develop Junior Duke and independent skills
- Maintain and further develop our School Travel Plan
- Increase and improve outcomes for all pupils and catch up programmes for vulnerable children and those with a significant gap in learning to peers.
- Increase the percentage of children achieving the higher standard / greater depth in Reading, Writing and Maths by the end of Y2
- Maintain and improve those achieving the required standard in phonics; including our SEND and vulnerable children
- Increase and improve outcomes for all pupils Good level of development
- Growth of EYFS provision
- To continue to develop the existing links with feeder nurseries and preschools
- Development of WASPS management team and training
- Further strengthen the PTA and source further funding avenues
