School Development Plan
Each year we publish a School Development Plan (SDP) which identifies how we can further improve and develop the work of the school, how we will manage change, and how we can make best use of resources and new opportunities available to us.
School Development Plan 2026-27
Highlights
- Oracy and Reading (including ELKAN informed practice)
- Improve phonics attainment in Year 1
- Embed adaptive teaching and inclusion further
- Improve transition between EYFS and Y1 to include enhanced provision
- To improve our attendance of all groups of pupils
- Review our current values and vision in light of changing landscap in Haddenham and the Federation
- To further develop our Junior Duke offer and to conitnue this provision into the Junior age range working with staff at the Junior School.
- To further enhance our nurture provision through nurture circles and training
- Working with the Family Hub to support parents through parenting support sessions.
- To increase our SEND offer with further leadership of new SENDCO with clear lines of responsibility and accountability
- Teaching Assistants and training for Teaching Assitants for Level 5 and HLTA qualifications
- To continue to build capacity within the Governing Body for succession planning and further training
- To deepen relationships and cohesiveness of the Federation through shared training, clear progression and curriculum reviews.
