WASPS Playworker – Casual (Zero hours)
Pay: £13.94 per hour
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Playworkers to join our wraparound care team supporting children aged 4–11 years.
In this role, you will help provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can relax, play, and take part in a variety of activities after school. You will supervise children, support play activities, prepare snacks, and work as part of a friendly team. This is a casual, zero-hours role, with hours offered on an ad hoc basis. Shifts will be available predominantly after school and during the school holidays.
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children
Is reliable, positive, and a good team player
Can supervise children safely
Is committed to safeguarding and children’s wellbeing
Experience in childcare, schools, or playwork is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
Additional hours:
Opportunities for overtime may be available during holiday clubs and breakfast clubs.
